I don’t get it. It looks neat. And it conveniently hovers over pages from other sites (e.g., time.com). But what I expect to find most on the WordPress bar is some kind of Blog This (I guess ’round here it’s called Press This), but I don’t; I don’t see it anywhere. Is this some kind of half-assed attempt to get me to just link to the original content instead of giving my spiel on it; Like preventing right-clicks on a web page in an effort to deter image saving? If that’s the case, it’s annoying, ’cause I’m just gonna copy and paste the link manually (funny, what passes for “manual” on computers) and then blog about it.
That and, oh, Blog Of the Day. Word around the forums was that Freshly Pressed sucks. It does. A kind poster (q.e., timethief) showed me Blog Of the Day, which can be found at botd.wordpress.com. Much better. It’s funny (as in strange, ’cause I’m not laughing) that I can’t find a link to that anywhere on wordpress.com’s front page.
